Gallery 34 {Comfort & Joy}

Untitled

Good morning and welcome to Gallery 34. Does my comfort and joy look more f-f-freezing than yours? Haha! I take comfort in this weather and it brings me loads of joy knowing that when it looks like this outside, I get to be cozied up inside with my blankets, my knit projects, a good movie, and my family nearby.

Our photos will not look the same because we feel and see things differently (I get so many comments and emails about how my photo or the photos in the gallery have nothing to do with the theme!) To that I say, how could you judge art? We have all been blessed with our individual perspectives and opinions. It's your perspective I'm interested in seeing and your (harsh) opinions I wish were kept private :)

If you are on instagram, tag your photos #52photosproject. Remember to add your photo to the flickr group <--great photos there by the way after linking it here, and as always, you can find updates about 52 Photos Project on Twitter & Facebook. I'm looking forward to what you will share!!

People suck.

Beautiful shot! And I love how positive you are - thinking of snow and cold as an opportunity for comfort and joy. I'll have to try that! (It's probably even colder here than where you are, and it's going to stay that way for a while!)

Bella, I hope you send the photo you shared with us today as a Christmas card. It is so beautiful and should be gifted to others. You really out done yourself on this one.

I love your "comfort & joy" photo! And I agree... what brings comfort and joy is so subjective -- this week's challenge should bring a really nice variety in photos - looking forward to seeing them all.

in dealing with people you will always find someone who is just plain unhappy. and they feel the need to share their unhappiness. it is sad really. but those negative comments can just be left to roll off our backs...the goodness and light shall prevail.

enjoy the moments.
just BE.

Why oh why do some folk feel the need to share a negative comment or opinion? I love all the different interpretations of your prompts. I am doing them each week, just not able to post at the right time, I'll fix that in the new year. Oh, and as it is your meme, you can do what you like ;)
