Gallery 52 {Like Silk}

Here we are. Week 52!! If you've been with me since last year, you have 52 new photos under your belt ~or~ you showed up once a week for a year to celebrate your creativity. Bravo! It has been a wonderful year spent with you.

*If I had my act together, I might have made a little slide show of all the prompts from last year (or the previous 4 years) as a cliche parting gift or homage to this blog. I might get to that later as this blog will remain open while we scoot on over to our new place in the ethers of iclouds and such :)

*I will continue to post our photo prompts here - it will be the first thing you see when you load the page. There will also be links to our Flickr Group - Twitter - and Facebook Groups (all located in the sidebar) if you need them.

Last week, we hiked around the marshes by my house. I thought the water

looked like ribbons of silk as the wind blew the current my way.

The magnolias are in full bloom.

Their petals, like silk.

We have a few more days to enjoy them before

their petals begin burning off.

This is my favorite part of Spring.
