My photos don't go nearly as far back as yours. I think I'm a little jealous.Boo and Karihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08433619808577145956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2267626969762407182.post-85630755883714411922012-06-05T07:00:24.222-04:002012-06-05T07:00:24.222-04:00Hi Bev - it's so nice to have you join here :)...Hi Bev - it's so nice to have you join here :)
Feel free to link up whenever you can!
What a treat to have all of those photographs.
I'm sure they are precious to you.Bella Cirovichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16496027745205896410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2267626969762407182.post-8937050568151614642012-06-05T06:59:37.175-04:002012-06-05T06:59:37.175-04:00I love it too!! xoI love it too!! xoBella Cirovichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16496027745205896410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2267626969762407182.post-85940065945772585032012-06-03T13:19:45.026-04:002012-06-03T13:19:45.026-04:00I follow your blog but don't participate in th...I follow your blog but don't participate in the weekly gallery because...I don't know why. The last three weeks I have spent many, many hours sifting through my parents' and some of my grandparent's thousands of photos. Hard, emotional work for me because I take thousands of photos a year so it's a horrendous job to dispose of theirs. I tried everything to get one my siblings to do it but to no avail. That's probably for the best though because I fear they would all have been destroyed whereas I have kept hundreds.

What I want to say today is that I am 63 years old and have photos of every generation back to my great-great-great grandparents. I am so blessed. Naturally they are all black & white until my generation forward. For the most part they are crisp and perfect images even though many have been stored in shoe boxes and plastic tubs in a garage for decades. Color photos do not have the staying power of black & white; perhaps even black & white photos processed from digital won't either but it is certainly a good idea to make sure that family portraits are also taken/printed in black & white.Bevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11296458913864371738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2267626969762407182.post-70488067168294630962012-06-03T10:09:24.960-04:002012-06-03T10:09:24.960-04:00I LOVE black and white.
