photo assignment: diary of moments

I wonder if this happens to you:  After a long day, you finally get into your cozy p.j.'s and crawl into bed, ready to surrender to a deep sleep. Then your mind begins to spin as you go over the events and happenings of your day.  Except this time, this night... you can't really remember the specifics like what you had for breakfast or what songs you listened to on the drive to work.  Try as you might, the answers just don't come - so you move on to other thoughts, drifting deeper ~ closer to sleep.

It's happened to me so many times that I've started to keep a small visual diary of mini moments - things I might usually forget. Using my cell phone, I take 4 to 5 photos using a black & white filter that I keep stored in a private online album. I record small moments of my day that might trigger bigger memories when I look back at them.

Today I'd like to invite you to do the same. Using your cell phone or any camera of your choice, record a few moments from your day. You can use a phone app or a filter so that these photos stand out, like journal pages. Share them, if you will, in the flickr group.

Wonderful idea for those who aren't writers.
