Gallery 23 {Withering Beauty}
Welcome to Gallery 23 {Withering Beauty} where we are looking to find the beauty amidst the crumbling, peeling, decay we encounter either on our travels or among our own possessions.
I took the photo above last year in a giant parking lot that housed old trucks. It's a close up, detailed shot of the rusted parts holding the door shut. I love the combo of steel & peeled paint - and converting this shot to gray & white gives it a little bit of an aged look.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you will share! After linking up here, add your photo to the flickr group. And don't forget, if you're on instagram, tag your pic #52photosproject!

Love your image Bella. Rust never sleeps.
Thanks for hosting. :)
I love the beauty of this week's theme. Thanks for hosting.
Nancy! Thank you!
Thank you, Stephanie.
Oh, what a great shot! I'm having so much fun with the 52 Photos Project - so glad you're hosting it!
This is a wonderful theme. I love wear and tear. I feel a lived-in presence is near. It feels homey to me. Well-loved.
Old, rusty, work-related things always catch my eye. Those are some interesting hinges, and I'm amazed at how long paint will hold on to metal.
I love how you see beauty in the ordinary, a great idea for the project and reminds us to look more closely!
I just got back fro a trip to Germany and we visited some lovely gardens, so I used a photo from our trip!
Nice to be home and "play" again. I always enjoy seeing these photos from all over the world!
Lovely image, there were so many possibilities with this theme.
this week's theme was delicious, one of my faves. i like the dreamy grit of your withering beauty shot Bella. thanks for the inspiration and happy week to you.
