Gallery 17 {Unusual & Uncommon}

Good morning everyone! Welcome to Gallery 17 {Unusual & Uncommon} a photo prompt brought to us by contributor Debbie Cabrera.

I snapped this photo last Spring while walking around downtown NYC. When I spied 2 large splats of pink paint on the building, I thought.. "hmmm, that's rather unusual." Who would have known I'd be using this shot for a Gallery?!?!

Welcome new players! Please feel free to join in at anytime. We link one photo here at the blog but you can upload multiple theme related shots to the flickr group. I do visit each of your photos, but usually, I'm a gallery or two behind. If you're playing along on instagram, tag your pics #52photosproject.

If ever you have a question, please feel free to email me at: bellacirovic@gmail.com

*I have joined hands with Deb Taylor & Jennifer DeVille Catalano at She is Three, a deep and fun exploration in self portraiture. The story behind my first photo is live at the blog today. I would love it if you stopped by there.

I like this! It reminds me of the children's book The Big Orange Splot, by Daniel Pinkwater. Do you know it?

What a neat shot! I wonder why there are two big paint splats on the building.

Great Shot! I wonder if two pink flamingos lost their way?

Definitely unusual! Love the shot - great processing, too.
