Week 14

Good Morning everyone! It is a lot less hot and humid here in the NYC area, but still it feels very much like baking in an oven. I am not made for this extreme summer heat. Instead of going outside, I've been sitting in and enjoying games of fetch with my dog (across the house), catching up on summer reading, and organizing my closets. <-- Yes! A chore I don't particularly like, but it beats melting like an ice cream cone outside.

Down Below -> The inspiration for this prompt came to me this morning. I usually know what our prompts will be well in advance, but this week I was a bit stumped. As I was waking, I was coming out of a dream where I was on a building roof top looking down, admiring the glittering lights of a city. I don't know where I was, but the time was just before dawn, when the sky was changing from shades of blue, to lavender, to pink; and I was taking in the gorgeous colors and flashing lights below me.

Being up high somewhere gives us great perspective of how small we really are in this Great.Big.World! I can't wait to see what you will come up with for this prompt.
